The goal of this paper is to take a journey through one year of work about Juan Alfonso de Baena’s dialogued poetry edition. We will focus on the main problems that we have encountered in the aspects that we have been working on up to now. Thus, we will give information on the author’s biography, as well as on his creation context. Aspects related to the delimitation and description of our textual corpus will also be dealt with. To conclude, the main problems which have affected this corpus’ transmission, such as transposed folios or lost works, will be approached too.
